Adding Polygon Geozone to the Map

The Fleetdynamics tracking portal has several different methods of adding Geozones, and what method you choose to utilize will depend on what the ideal outcome is.

Note: If you wish to receive alerts when vehicles enter/exit a zone please refer to the article "Adding Exception alerts"

Polygon Geozones are generally utilized throughout the GPS tracking portal for Reporting purposes. The portal will consider any customer defined zones within the reporting suite automatically, by tagging known locations with the zone name, and allowing reporting of specific data sets (Such as: "Vehicle idling on site" or "Total KM traveled on known routes") 

Adding Polygon Geozone

You can add a polygon Geozone to your map by clicking the polygon icon top left corner on the "Live tracking" screen
